I had an extraction and it was very easy and almost painless. Dr. Swanson is a very good dentist. I never thought there would be another Dr. Getchell, but I think you've got one!
Our practice was founded in 1951 by Dr. L. Forbes Getchell. After serving his country in WWII, Dr. Getchell completed his dental education at NYU and set up a practice on the second floor of 84 Main Street, above what is now Crackskull's Coffee and Books. The practice moved next door in 1955 to its current location at 80 Main Street, a building which initially housed The Branscomb Tavern. This inn served as a stagecoach stop dating to 1832, and later was used as a shoe shop, remnant store and a physician's office. Many current patients have been receiving their dental care here for 40 years or more!
